Monday Morning Prayer Group – 9:30 a.m. in the parlour.  Contact person:  Liz Demandt.

Invitation to Soaking Prayer on Monday Evenings – 8:00 p.m. in the parlour.  As part of this emphasis on prayer, you are encouraged to fast on Mondays for the next while.

Bible Listening Groups—Adventures in Acts – ONE Group for MEN on Thursday evenings at 8:30 p.m. at the church. For info, call Pastor John.  ONE Group for LADIES on Wednesday mornings at 9:00 a.m. at the home of Marg Nicholson.

Seeds of Hope Dessert Night Fundraiser – Saturday, Aug. 7 at 7:00 p.m. in the gym.  John Chalkias is sharing about the Seeds of Hope ministry.  For info:  Gary Martin.

BBQ at OASIS Drop-in Centre (256 King St. E., Kit.) – Tuesday, Aug. 17 at 6:30 p.m.  Garden & potato salad needed as well as folks to help prepare, serve and clean-up.  (Meal is hamburgers, hotdogs, salad and ice cream.)  See Rodney’s July 25th email.  To volunteer, contact Rodney Gill.

Kid’s Club (for kids entering Gr. 3 to 6) – Thursday, Aug. 26. 6:45 to 8:15 p.m.  Towne Bowl, 11 Ottawa St. N., Kitchener.  $9.00 for shoes & 1 hour of cosmic bowling:  RSVP by Aug. 25 to Dawn Gill.
