Mission of the Month

During JANUARY all offerings designated to MISSIONS

on your offering envelope will support HAITI (through U.B. Missions).

Our “Money Manager” jar donations will help with medical costs for Anderson—a young man in Zambia—through Seeds of Hope Children’s Ministry.

NOW AVAILABLE: Seeds of Hope Coffee—100% of all proceeds are used to care for orphans & widows around the world. (www.seedsofhopecoffee.com). (To cover their costs, the 300g packages are $15.00 each—in church office.)

Celebrate Recovery Group – Ongoing Monday evenings. 7:30 to 10:00 p.m. at Ray of Hope Community Centre, 659 King St. E., Kitchener. For info: Janice Farr.

English Café for Refugees – resumes Tuesday, Jan. 10. 7:30 to 8:30 p.m. at Morning Glory Café. We offer newly-arrived refugees a chance to practice their English & we provide a light snack. VOLUNTEERS NEEDED! Call Stephanie Schmitke.

SONshine Team Meeting – Wednesday, Jan. 4. 2:00 p.m. Contact person: Carol Croley.

Looking Ahead

“The Heart Spa” Women’s Retreat (for age 16+) – Jan. 13-14 at Guelph Bible Conference Centre. Info on back table. Cost: $80. Last day to register is Jan. 8, 2012. For info, Dawn Gill.

U.B. Jr. Youth Retreat – Jan. 20-22 at Countryside Camp, 1985 Beke Rd., R.R. #4, Cambridge, ON. Cost: $65 before Jan. 8/12 ($70 after Jan. 8).

Do you have hurts, habits or hang-ups that you would like the Lord’s help with healing? Celebrate Recovery—Step Study for WOMEN, starting Tuesday, Jan. 10 – 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. (ongoing weekly to the end of June). Sign-up sheet on back table. For info: Co-leaders—Debbie Ahrens and Janice Farr.
