Mission of the Month

During JULY, all offerings designated to MISSIONS on your offering envelope will support “Seeds of Hope Children’s Ministry.” Website:  www.seedsofhopecm.com

Our children’s offerings support two children from Seeds of Hope Children’s Ministry in Zambia through their child sponsorship program.

Monday Morning Prayer Group – 9:30 a.m. in the parlour.  Contact person:  Liz Demandt.

Bible Listening Groups—Summer Plans – ONE Group for MEN on Thursday evenings at 8:30 p.m. starting Thursday, July 8.  Call Pastor John (519-893-8186).

    LADIES’ Bible Listening Group – to be arranged.  For info and/or to sign up, please talk to Marg Nicholson.

Mill Crossing Church needs help this summer renovating an old warehouse into a new church (211 Queen St. W., Hespeler).  Calling on U.B. Family—especially electricians, framers, carpenters, & general labourers.  Contact Pastor Liz. 

Haiti Info Meeting Saturday, July 10.  10:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m.  To discuss two Mission trip possibilities for those interested in construction and other ministries.  Contact person:  Joan Sider.

Kid’s Club (for kids entering Gr. 3 to 6) Thursday, July 15.  6:45 to 8:15 p.m.  “Water is Weird” (weather permitting) – wear clothes & runners that can get wet.  Contact person:  Dawn Gill.

Kid’s Club (for kids entering Gr. 3 to 6) Thursday, Aug. 26. 6:45 to 8:15 p.m.  Towne Bowl, 11 Ottawa St. N., Kitchener.  $9.00 for shoes & 1 hour of cosmic bowling.  RSVP by Aug. 25 to Dawn Gill.
